Are you interested in sports and outdoor activities and have experience working in a retail environment, preferably in large-scale operations and with similar products? Do you have a passion for delivering top-notch customer service and feel confident in sales and service? Then you might be the one we are looking for to fill the position of store associate at our store in Charlottenberg at Helga Görlins gata 1!

We are looking for an engaged and positive employee who has experience in retail work, preferably with handling large product flows and seasonal products.

You thrive in a fast-paced environment and are used to working towards key performance indicators while always keeping the customer in focus. As a store associate at Sportshopen, you will be part of a cheerful and wonderful team that works together to achieve new goals.

Responsibilities💻

As a store associate with us, you will always greet our customers with a cheerful smile and provide them with the best possible service experience. Your tasks will include cash register work, signage, price tagging, unpacking and restocking items, as well as maintaining order in the store. You will also have an eye for product display and ensure that the right product is always in the right place.

Qualifications🏆

We are looking for someone with experience in retail, preferably focused on sports or outdoor products. You are comfortable handling large product flows and seasonal changes and have experience working with product placement and rearranging. Working towards sales targets and engaging in upselling is something you feel confident with. It is also important that you are a team player with good collaboration skills and that you are driven to provide our customers with the best possible service.

Conditions🤝🏼

The position is a permanent employment of 80% employment rate, starting with a six-month probationary period. Working with us means varying working hours and weekend work may occur.

We apply salary according to the collective agreement with the Trade Union for Employees.

We may conduct credit checks as well as background checks on the applicant.

Who Are We?

Swedemount Sportswear & Fashion AB started in 1991 and today has 23 stores under the name Sportshopen and one store under the name Bazar. In Sörred outside Gothenburg, we have our 20,000 sqm automated warehouse and office. In Grebbestad on the west coast, we also have our headquarters and our largest store, which is the largest sports store in the Nordic countries at 14,000 sqm.

Our stores are located throughout Sweden, from north to south, with a growing e-commerce that also extends to the European market. Sportshopen is now one of the larger individual players in Sweden in sales within sports and leisure. Our range mainly consists of clothing and shoes from leading brand suppliers, but we also develop and manufacture our own brands – clothing that can be used for activities in harsh climates, all year round.
